About Us
Mike Rone founded RMR
Consultants in 1999, after realizing
through his experiences that there
was a need for a Transportation
Consulting Firm that Specialized in
DOT Compliance. He felt that
companies did not only need the
expertise for advise on Regulatory
matters, but also needed a firm that
could actually take the burdensome
work load off their hands.
Mike has over 26 years experience in
the field of Motor Carrier
Operations, Safety, Traffic – Rate
Negotiations, Freight Bill Audit/
Payment, FHWA Operating Authorities
and State Regulations. This
experience covers Shippers, Carriers
and Private Fleet Management. His
last 12 years, before RMR
Consultants, was with a major
distributor in the Dallas area
managing their Private Fleet
Operation in 16 states and he was
responsible for over 140 drivers.
Mike is also a Certified Fleet
Safety Director. The Certification
was received through joint
recognition from the Texas Motor
Transportation Association and Texas
A&M Texas Engineering Extension
Service (TEEX).

Log/Hours of Service Audit, Driver
Qualification file and Drug Testing
departments. Linda has over eight
years experience in these areas and
